We are delighted to announce that from 1st June 2022 Leon Atkins and Jordan Wilkes our former Mechanical and Electrical Associates are welcomed to the Practice as Partners. This is an important transition for DTA as the Practice moves forward into an exciting new era in its history with the focus now providing solely Mechanical and Electrical Consultancy Services, Leon and Jordan mark the third generation of Partners at DTA spanning across 35 years.
The team at DTA enjoyed a staff night out at the recently completed DC Bowl in the Dolphin Centre, Darlington. DTA working on behalf of Darlington Borough Council provided the Mechanical and Electrical design services which seen the previous squash courts converted into a bowling alley at first floor level with extension to the soft play below. Additional areas adjacent were also refurbished and brought up to current standards including the creche and office areas.
We attended the Constructing Excellence Awards Northeast this month where our Core364 project was honoured with the sustainability award. DTA working on behalf of the main contractor Engie and Client Gentoo delivered the Electrical and Structural designs for seven tower blocks in Sunderland, which were decarbonised and had ground source heat pumps installed to provide space heating and hot water throughout.
As DTA moves into a new era we say goodbye to our Civil and Structural side of the business and focus in on Mechanical and Electrical, this has seen John Middleton step up from Associate to Partner. The future is looking bright at DTA with a full order book and several new recruits recently joining. We would like to wish all of our former colleagues the best of luck in the future and look forward to working under the direction of John and Phil.
As the nation approaches another COVID-19 lockdown DTA would like to reassure all of our clients, colleagues and other interested parties that each office will remain open and appropriately staffed to deal with any enquiries.
